About the Foundation

For your convenience, here we have pulled together information on the California State University, Fresno Foundation, more commonly known as The Fresno State Foundation, ranging from the purpose and history of the Foundation to the types of gifts we accept.

The Fresno State Foundation is one of seven auxiliary corporations formed in support of California State University, Fresno. As a private, nonprofit corporation, the Foundation’s major role is to manage and administer assets that provide for such things as academic program revenue, student scholarships, and faculty stipends. The Foundation also administers post-award grant and contract activity in support of quality research and regional partnerships and alliances.
